1/21/02 - Recently, various people have approached truckers and claim to be operating in the role of a consultant.   If the person claims to represent you as a consultant & works for an insurance agency, it is very difficult for that person to operate without having a conflict of interest arise.  
    Lately, we have seen situations where several of the insurance companies specializing in trucking have NOT been approached by the consultant for various reasons.  In a hard market, this can be very detrimental to the trucker.
