Stan Sharpe
Principal
Graduate of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Four years adjuster for Crawford and Company in Washington, D. C. and Charlotte, North Carolina.
Five years as insurance manager for Thurston Motor Lines. Responsible for the insurance program for auto liability, workers compensation and cargo. This included the purchase of these coverages and administration of claims. Established a self-insured plan and computerized loss data for all coverages. Handled self-insured workers compensation in seven states.
Manager of James C. Green Company, Independent Adjusters in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Three years as claims manager of Protective Insurance Company in Charlotte, North Carolina, specializing in truck insurance.
Since 1980 insurance agent/broker for Transure specializing in truck insurance.
Served as Member of the Board of Directors, North Carolina Trucking Association.
Currently serving another term as an Allied Director for the North Carolina Trucking Association from 2009-2011.

Bob Gunn
President
Graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso.
Two years financial analyst with General Electric’s nuclear energy division, San Jose, California.
Six years senior account executive with Transport Indemnity Company responsible for the direct solicitation, sales and service of transportation related risks throughout the southeastern United States; developing an extensive background in managed and self administered self insurance and off-shore concepts of risk retention management.
Since 1982 President and Chief Executive Officer of Transure specializing exclusively in the placement and management of transportation risks throughout the United States.

Andy Sharpe
Vice President of Sales
Graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Business Management, Concentration in Marketing.
Andy interned throughout undergraduate years with Transure Services, Inc. Interfaced with all departments including marketing, sales and accounting.
In 2000, Andy interned with a leading Lloyds Broker specializing in the placement of transportation related business. He worked extensively with promulgating rates and terms on open placements with Lloyds Leads as well as the placement of program contracts and line slips.
Since 2001, Andy as an agent/broker has worked diligently in our industry procuring, placing, and servicing the specialized needs of our transportation accounts.
Since 2007, Andy has been our Vice President of Sales.

Deanna Heath
Small Fleet Sales Account Executive (5 to <40 trucks)
Deanna has spent over 12 years in trucking insurance. Two of those years were on the wholesale MGA side with the other nine years on the retail side working directly with trucking companies.
Since March 2010, Deanna has been our small fleet sales account executive.

Chris Huneycutt
Marketing Manager
1997 Graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BS in Business Administration – concentration in Marketing.
Prior to Transure, Account Executive with a sports marketing apparel company, involved in the promotional programs for sports and corporate clients. In addition, managed motorsports apparel program for Busch Grand National Race Teams, Arena Football
Since 2002 marketing account executive specializing in truck insurance.
Since 2008 Chris has been our head of marketing.
